Targeted method identifying up to 28 bile acids using UPLC-QTRAP MS/MS with specific predetermined MRMs. Molar values are quantified using individual calibration standards and internal standards as surrogates. Bile acids consist of primary and secondary conjugates and unconjugates, including both human and those unique to different animal species.
